Senior Chief Petty Officer Thomas J. Valentine, 37, of Ham Lake, Minnesota, died in a training accident in Arizona, on Feb. 13.

Good Luck CFNW in the States!!!
Today's WOD is Karen. It is a CrossFit Bench mark workout that we have done roughly 2 months ago. One that day we had a few new names to go up on the leader board. The most impressive effort was the show down between Kez D and Dieter R. Dieter performed the whole workout 150 wall balls some what unbroken. He only paused briefly at 100 reps and did not put the ball down for the duration of the workout. Seeing he is 6 foot 5 it will be a hard task or anyone to beat him. No matter how hard the legs are burning push through it is only 150 wall balls for time!!

Tomorrow our CrossFit Norwest (CFNW) affiliate team heads over to the USA for the CrossFit Games Finals. They will do well, do there best and have alot of fun doing it. It will be a great experience for all heading over. To Dieter R, Dan W, Corrine K, Dana C and Sharon B good luck give it your all and see how we go. Leave nothing in the tank
John and Kiara will be looking after the gym for the next 2 weeks. They have all the WODS on paper in case the web site crashes for some reason and in any case Dan T will have it restored in next to no time.
To everyone at the gym please think about the up and coming open days. Brisbane has a great day on the 15th of August. a lot of people and a great chance to meet a whole different group of guys/girls. we have to beat QLD'ers at something......... Also the Never Quit games are on soon. They are celebrating there one year birthday. They have a team event. 2 guys/2 girls, for the main comp and single sex teams for the rest. They will have different ability categories so please think of who you would like to compete with. I would hope we can get 3-4 teams to head over. the registration link is on the left of this screen.
